PBRU International was established based on the approval of the 12th/2023 meeting of the Council of Rajabhat University of Phetchaburi, held on December 18, 2566. Assistant Professor Dr. Sanor Klinngam, (President PBRU), initiated the establishment project. Kitsada Tungchawal, Ph.D. (Vice President PBRU) was appointed as the supervisor for the establishment of PBRU International, and Dr. Pornpen Juraiyanon, at that time, served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

PBRU International is responsible for overseeing the teaching and learning activities for international students at the certificate, undergraduate, and graduate levels, from enrollment to graduation. It also supports the participation of international students in Thai cultural traditions and activities to foster good relations between the university and students of all backgrounds.
